Betty Jane (Nead) Zastrow, 89, of Kronenwetter, Wisconsin, passed away on October 17, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed.

Betty was born on May 31, 1937, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. She married Norman Zastrow on October 20, 1956, and together they raised five children.

Betty loved fishing, a passion she shared with her family. She also enjoyed tending to her garden, watching for hummingbirds, and cheering on the Packers, Brewers, and the Bucks. She loved sewing, which included making baby blankets and matching outfits for her grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her five children, Mike Zastrow, Pat (Kori) Zastrow, Bob Zastrow, Sue (Dan) Ast, and Deb (Tom) Aldridge, nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Zastrow, her son-in-law Dan Ast, and many beloved pets.

Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society in Betty’s memory.
