Carol D. Hallas, 87, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Born on March 27, 1939, to the late Clarence and Violet (Rempke) Raymond, Carol found the love of her life when she married Frank Hallas on August 1, 1959. Together they shared 54 wonderful years of marriage until Frank's passing on May 17, 2013. Their love was steadfast, and infinite.

Carol was the quintessential homemaker. She took great pride in caring for her home, keeping it spotless and welcoming. Whether she was cleaning, baking, or finding another project to keep her busy, Carol was always doing something. She especially enjoyed knitting, creating beautiful handmade treasures that her family will cherish for years to come.

Carol will be remembered for her quick wit, charming personality, and wonderful sense of humor. She was a devoted Elvis Presley fan and an even bigger Green Bay Packers fan. During football season, family and friends could always count on hearing Carol enthusiastically cheering—and occasionally yelling—at the television as she rooted for her beloved Packers.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Leslie LaPorte and Bob Hallas; her grandchildren, Zachary, Lacey, and Brody; and her bonus grandchildren, Trish and T.J. Gorski.

In addition to her parents and her beloved husband, Frank, Carol was preceded in death by her two sisters and four brothers.

Per Carol's wishes, no services will be held at this time. She and Frank will be laid to rest together at Mosinee City Cemetery.
