Charlotte Mae
Stenberg
Oct 31, 1974 — Aug 22, 2026
Charlotte Mae (Ohde) Stenberg was born in Wausau Wisconsin October 31, 1974 to Harvey and Linda (Bacon) Ohde. Charlotte was the third of four children, she was called to her heavenly home August 22, 2026.
She married Matthew Stenberg in Merrill Wisconsin, July 4, 2004. Their union was blessed with one daughter in 2007. They built a life filled with love, family, and many cherished memories.
Charlotte enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling, generally being outdoors, and making crafts. As her health began to challenge her she enjoyed watching movies, shows, and listening to music. She had a strong love for her family, her friends, and animals of all kinds. She will be remembered for her kindness, her sassiness, her wit, and her pickle rolls.
Above all else, Charlotte's greatest joy in life was being a mother to her beautiful daughter, Tamara. She was incredibly proud of her daughter. Charlotte's craftiness and artistic abilities were reflected onto her daughter, especially her sewing skills. Some of Charlotte's happiest moments were the simple ones spent with her husband and daughter. Nothing could make a day better than being together as a family.
A memorial service celebrating Charlotte's life will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pine River, September 12, 2026.
Charlotte will be deeply missed by her husband Matthew "Matt" Stenberg; her daughter, Tamara; her mother, Linda Ohde; mother-in-law, Donna Stenberg; sisters, Terri (Brad) Kankelfitz and Susan Ohde; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dawn (Shawn) Weaver, David (Sarah) Stenberg, and Brian Stenberg; nieces and nephews, Erica, Corwin, KayLee, Brittany, Samantha, Anna, Luke, Katie (Zack), and Nathanial (Rachel).
