Colleen G. LeBlanc (Gajewski)

Colleen LeBlanc passed away in hospice at home on August 31, 2025, at the age of 76.

She was born on September 6th, 1948, to Lillian and Alex Gajewski in Wausau, WI. She was married to Thomas LeBlanc for over fifty years and lived her entire life in Central Wisconsin.

Colleen worked at Wausau Insurance Company, later Nationwide and Liberty Mutual as a trainer and a crime insurance underwriter for over 40 years.

Colleen adored her family farm, loved dogs, and could be seen smoking a cigarette while enjoying nature from her porch every day. She was a good cook, a master at canning vegetables, and a long time crocheter. She donated generously to the Humane Society and ASPCA. She loved coffee, disaster movies and visiting her beloved neighbors. In her brighter days she enjoyed gardening, tending her farm, and going to Star Trek conventions.

She was preceded in death by her beloved sister Lavonne, and her husband Thomas. She is survived by her brother Donald Detert, daughter Jamie and son-in-law Eric Pelot.

Services will be held at a later date to celebrate her memory.
