My heart is broken beyond repair. Today, March 22, 2026, after almost thirty-eight years together, I lost the man I have loved since the first day I met him, David Niewolny. We married on September 14, 1990.
David W. Niewolny was born May 19, 1945, at 12:15 am in Wausau Memorial Hospital to his very proud parents, Frank and Ilma (Krienke) Niewolny. He weighed in at a whomping 6 pounds 13 ounces.
Dave was blessed with two sons, Todd (Shelli) Niewolny, and Tony (Wendy) Niewolny. Four grandchildren, Allyssa (Ryan) Dassow, Colton (Nicole) Niewolny, Trevor Niewolny, and Lexi (Sye) Mannel. Five great-grandchildren, Laikynn and Rowan Dassow, Bentley, Briggs and Beau Mannel, and baby to be Niewolny. They all survive. In addition, he is survived by his wife Susan F. (Westfall) Niewolny, and brother, Thomas (Patricia) Niewolny.
A celebration of Dave's life will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 11:00 am until 3:30 pm at Eurbach Park in Athens, WI. Military Honors will be at12:30pm
Mid Wisconsin Cremation Society is assisting the family.
