David J. Schickert, age 62, passed away on September 13, 2025, with his devoted wife by his side.

He was born on June 14, 1963, to Owen and Marion (Schuetz) Schickert. David married the love of his life, Barbara Jo Brown, and together they shared 34 wonderful years of marriage.

David had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Whether bird watching, boating, or simply soaking in the beauty of the day, he found peace and joy in nature. Known for his kind heart and generous spirit, David was always willing to lend a helping hand. His love and compassion touched many lives, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Barb; his parents, Owen and Marion; his brothers, Bob (Carol) and Bill (Kim); and several nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 200 E. Washington Street, Slinger, WI 53086. Following the Mass, family and friends are invited to a celebration of David's life from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Sheryl's Club 175, 3545 WI-175, Slinger, WI 53086.
