Donna Marie Mahn, age 78, of Crandon, formerly of Merrill, passed away peacefully, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, under the excellent care of Hospice and Comfort Services.

Donna was born October 29, 1946. She was the daughter of the late Wilfred (Bill) and Arnine (Searl) Seis. She was the fourth of seven children.

Donna attended Merrill Senior High, and met the love of her life, William (Billy) Mahn. They were married on September 19, 1964. A union lasting 60 years.

She worked at Weinbrenner Shoe Company for 47 years, retiring in 2011.

Donna loved having fun. She knew how to drive a motorcycle and a snowmobile and loved doing both. She also loved riding her motorcycle, with her husband, Billy. She loved to travel, taking trips to Florida and Nevada. She was a loyal fan of the Green Bay Packers and also loved Elvis! Donna was known to make the best pumpkin pie bars around!

She will be deeply missed by her family, and all who knew her. She had a loving relationship with all.

Donna is survived by her loving husband, Billy, of 60 years, her daughter Larana (Mike) Broeren, her granddaughter Sarah Broeren (Roy), and great-grandsons, Aiden and Bellamy, all of Merrill. Also, siblings, Sandra (David) Roeder,; Woodland Park, CO, Dave Seis (Ann); Buckley, WA, Kim (Bruce) Koehler; Merrill, Kristin (Doug) Koehnke; Humboldt, AZ, and Karyl (Tim) Malzahn; Merrill. Nieces, Alissa Roeder; CO, Angela Skillern; CA, Heather (Jason) Wolff; Merrill, nephews, Heath (Angela) Heidemann; Merrill, and Dalton and Nathan Malzahn; Eau Claire and Merrill, respectively.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents Wilfred and Arnine (Searl) Seis, her son, Shannon, her brother, Nick, and her nephew, Micah Roeder.

The family would like to extend a multitude of thanks to Dr. Kwon, Taylor, Kacey, and all of the excellent and very compassionate health care workers, who gave such stellar and compassionate care to make her last days easier.

Per Donna's wishes, there will be no services.
