On Monday, January 30, 2023, Edward Drews, passed away at his home in Schofield, WI surrounded by family.

Ed spent most of his life working in well drilling with several years running his own well drilling business. He enjoyed working on his 1952 Ford Pick Up and 1937 Coupe. He enjoyed watching football and going to the stock car races. He also enjoyed singing and playing his guitar. For many years, he and his late wife had a band, The Legends, that played at countless venues. Ed and Sandy owned the Ringle Brickyard Speedway and enjoyed many years of running that business.

He was born on June 16, 1946 to the late William and Rose (Knasinski) Drews. He grew up in the Oconomowoc area along with his 15 siblings. Ed moved to Central, WI with his late wife where they raised their two sons.

Ed is survived by his son Edward Jr. Drews of Schofield, WI and son, Neil Drews of Wausau, WI, grandchildren Zach Drews, Dalton Drews and Austin Drews. He is also survived by his sisters Shirley (George) Palen, Charlotte (Sherman) Pagenkopf, Joanne Field, Sally (Robert) Marks, Diane Brown, Rosemary (James) Brown, Gail (Jeff) Denkins along with many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Proceeding him in death were his late wife, Sandra, his parents, brothers Leroy (Emily) Drews, William Drews, Richard (Sharon) Drews and Joseph Drews, sisters Hildegarde (John) Staus, Deloris (Wilbert) Oldenhoff, Marjorie (Jack) Koeffler, and Sandra Houk.

The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice Services. Per Ed's wishes, no funeral will be held.
