Henri
Ranck
Sep 29, 1926 — Oct 29, 2026
Weston
Henri Ranck, who recently celebrated her 100th birthday surrounded by family and friends, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at Careview in Weston, Wisconsin, where she had made her home for the past six years.
Born on September 29, 1926, in Ybor City, Florida, Henri lived a life as colorful and full of adventure as the century she witnessed. She attended school in Key West, Florida, and called many places home throughout her life, including her long-time residence in Ridgecrest, CA; San Diego, CA; Hawaii; and Japan. Wherever life took her, Henri embraced new experiences, worked hard, and made lasting connections.
Henri was a woman of determination, independence, and remarkable ambition. Among her many professional accomplishments, she enjoyed tremendous success with Tupperware, rising to the distinguished level of Jubilee Manager. Her exceptional leadership earned her numerous awards and achievements, including a car, a cruise, and furnishings for her home. Over the years, she also owned a restaurant and worked in hospitality, bringing her natural warmth and gift for making people feel welcome to everything she did.
Her compassion extended well beyond her professional life. Henri generously volunteered her time with the American Red Cross as a Gray Lady, and later volunteered her loving care and companionship to individuals living with dementia. Helping others came naturally to her. She had a special way of making everyone she encountered feel seen, valued, and important.
Of all the roles Henri held throughout her remarkable life, none meant more to her than being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. The true matriarch of her family, she loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren deeply. She was the person who took care of everyone, celebrated their accomplishments, and made each person feel special.
Henri was full of life, loved a good joke, and never wanted to miss a party or family celebration. She enjoyed playing cards, working on puzzles, going on an adventure, and getting lost in a good book. Independent, hardworking, kind, and caring, she had a wonderful ability to brighten a room and lift the spirits of those around her. Whether someone had known her for decades or had just met her, Henri had a way of leaving a lasting impression.
One of Henri's greatest wishes was to reach her 100th birthday, and on September 29, 2026, she did just that. Surrounded by the family and friends she loved, she celebrated a century of memories, laughter, and a life well lived.
Henri is survived by her three children, Kathi (Carrera) Royer-Jamison (Sean) of Arizona, Michael Rank (Tonja) of Minnesota, and Richard Ranck of Minnesota; eight grandchildren, Tara Nowak (Bobby), Laurie Wolff (Jason), Jaret (Megan) Rogers, Taylor Royer, Connor (Celeste) Royer, Timothy Becker, and Alicia Carrera; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, William Curry; her daughter, Carolyn "Nannette" Oldfield; and her granddaughter, Brittney Ranck.
Henri's family wishes to express their deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to the extraordinary staff at Careview (formerly PRIDE TLC) in Weston, Wisconsin, and St. Croix Hospice. For the past six years, Careview was more than simply a place Henri lived. It was her home. The kindness, patience, compassion, and personal attention shown to Henri meant more to her family than words can adequately express. To the caregivers, nurses, hospice professionals, and everyone who offered a gentle hand, a warm smile, a listening ear, or a moment of laughter, thank you. You helped make Henri's days comfortable, meaningful, and filled with dignity. Your care and compassion will always be remembered with sincere appreciation and gratitude. The family extends a special thank-you to Sharon Lyon and Debbie Mohr, whose visits, card games, and treasured friendship brought joy and companionship to Henri's days. Their kindness and time spent with her will always be remembered with heartfelt gratitude.
In keeping with Henri's wishes, there will be no formal funeral or memorial service. She will be cremated, and her ashes will be scattered in Key West, Florida, a place that held a special connection to her early life.
One hundred years is an extraordinary lifetime, but Henri's greatest legacy cannot be measured in years. It lives in the people she loved, the lives she touched, the laughter she shared, and the kindness she gave so freely.
She truly lived her 100 years.
She lived and loved fully and made the world brighter just by being in it.
