Our beloved father, James Ross Warner, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024 at the age of 89. Born in Wisconsin Rapids, he later moved to Wausau where he studied Residential Design and began a lifelong career in designing and drafting numerous buildings throughout the Wausau area. He spent a majority of his career working at Wausau/Weston Homes before

starting his own business, Jamar Industries and later JRW Enterprises.

In September of 1955 he married the love of his life, Martha Chrudimsky. Together they had eight daughters. At the time of his death he was a proud grandfather to 22 children, great grandfather to 34 children and a great great grandfather to 2 children, for an extended family which included 66 members.

He loved to golf and had a lifelong passion for cars, both collectors and race cars, and he took pride in sponsoring several local drivers. He and his wife were avid fans of the Packers and Brewers and played cribbage on an almost daily basis once they retired.

James was probably best known for his crazy sense of humor, he never forgot a joke (even though some were better left forgotten…) he claims it helped keep his sanity in a house full of women. He will be dearly missed.

James is survived by seven of his daughters: Joani (Mike) Lashua, Bonnie (Randy) Held, Sue (Don) Woller, Donna Klimek, Judy Warner, Cindy (Joe) Watson, and Kathy (Brad) Bedessem, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; two sisters: Lois McLean and Nancy Bosshart, and two brothers: Harold "Fuzz" (Sherry) Warner and Robert (Audrey) Warner. He was preceded in death by his wife Martha and daughter Lori Stushek, his brother George Warner, and sisters Elizabeth Windsor and Mary Jean Osterkil.

A private family burial and celebration of life for both James and Martha will be held in Aniwa.

The family would like to thank the staff of Wausau Manor and Heartland Hospice Services for the wonderful care they provided to our father during his extended stay.
