Janice K. Bohm, 80, Wausau, passed away peacefully on November 23. She was born May 25, 1944, to Edward and Betty Meldman, and was raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Janice will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She will be remembered most for her witty sense of humor, her ability to strike a conversation with anyone she met, her love of nature and her compassion for animals.

She is survived by her daughter Sherri Putzer (Jon), and her brother Jeff Meldman.

A celebration of her life will be held in Wausau, at a later date this spring.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Janice's name be directed to The Nature Conservancy.
