Janice Nesbitt, age 78, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025, at the House of the Dove in Marshfield. She was born on June 4, 1947, to the late Philo and Mary (Nemec) Nesbitt.

A quiet and gentle soul, Janice found joy in life's simple, steady rhythms. She was happiest with her hands in the soil, tending to her garden, or curled up with a good mystery novel—her favorite escape. Her love of reading was well known among family and friends, and she was always eager to share a book she enjoyed or discuss a cleverly written plot twist.

Janice is survived by her siblings Ann Nesbitt, Jim (Julie) Nesbitt, MarDel (Myron) Reigel, and John Nesbitt, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom she cared for deeply.

Her family and loved ones will remember her warmth, her quiet strength, and the peaceful presence she brought to their lives.
