Jason R. Lawrence, a beloved husband, son, and brother passed away on June 27, 2024, at the age of 39 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI following a brief illness.
Born on October 19, 1984, Jason grew up in Bucks County and Philadelphia, PA with his devoted, loving parents, Robert and Linda Lawrence, younger brother Nicholas, and golden retriever Henry. Jason graduated from Archbishop Ryan High School and attended Bucks County Community College, majoring in history. Jason then moved to Venice, FL with his family and began working at Bayfront Venice Regional Hospital as a Patient Care Transporter. Jason excelled in this role, as his physical strength and compassion for patients and families shined. In addition to his passion for helping others, Jason also enjoyed listening to Black Metal music, hiking, learning about American and European history, and watching old VHS home movies.
While in Florida, Jason met the love of his life, Amy Rhoads, who filled his life with affection and adventure. The two eventually moved to the scenic Black Hills of South Dakota, where they married one another on August 27, 2021. Jason and Amy then moved to Schofield, WI, where they purchased their first house and adopted their golden retriever, Marty. Jason continued his career in public health, accepting a position as a Patient Video Monitor Technician at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital. Jason and Amy cherished their time in Wisconsin, where they met new friends, coworkers, and began conquering new travel destinations.
Jason was loved by his wife Amy (Rhoads) Lawrence, his parents Robert and Linda (Musial) Lawrence of Venice, FL, his brother Nicholas Lawrence and his fiancé Miranda Brooks of Philadelphia, PA, his grandparents Robert and Ruthanne (deceased) Lawrence and Robert's friend Sandee Engle of Madeira Beach, FL, and Chester and Jean Musial (both deceased) of Philadelphia, PA.
A memorial service for Jason will be held at the Dells of the Eau Claire County Park in Aniwa, WI on July 13th at 3:00 P.M. Following the service, a celebration of Jason's life will be held at Prost Hill Bar & Grill, located at 167585 County Rd N, Ringle, WI 54471 at 4:00 P.M.
