Jeffrey Lynn "Jeff" Buchholz

Jeff, at the age of 73, passed away peacefully in his sleep at Aspirus Wausau Hospital October 3, 2024. God gave him a second chance at life after dying for the first time in 2018. As Jeff's time was up "Tyme" his Golden Retriever came to greet Jeff to the other side with his other past dogs Ginger, Shadow, Kenzie and Bailey.

On April 4, 1951, Jeff was born in Wausau to Robert and Lillian Buchholz.

In 1977, a month before getting married, Jeff and Carol Holup began building their new home together. They were married November 4, 1977, for 46 years and 11 months and were High School sweethearts whose love was captured in brownies and secret love letters Jeff would send in the twilight hours.

Together Jeff and his wife Carol practiced their love of square dancing for 50 plus years all over the US.

Jeff drove his semi-truck for millions of miles for over 35 years for Wausau Supply. He enjoyed watching racing, baseball, football, trains and putting together 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzles.

He is survived by his wife Carol, mother Lillian, sister Renee (Kevin) Malak and nephew Wesley Malak.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father Robert.
