Jerry Fred Ladwig of Wausau, WI passed away on August 1st, 2024 at Mt View Care Center. Jerry was under care with Aspirus Hospice. Jerry was born on July 26th, 1937 in Wausau, WI to the late Fred Ladwig and Selma Christensen. Jerry's father Fred

passed early in his childhood and Jerry gained a stepfather, Martin. Jerry graduated from Wausau High School in 1955. Jerry served our nation's Air Force from June 6th 1956 to April 5th, 1961, when he was honorably discharged with good conduct medals.

Jerry married the late Gwendolyn and fathered their four children. Gerilyn Ladwig of Wausau, Rick Ladwig of Wausau, Mark Ladwig (Vicki Wilson), of Moe, Victoria Australia and the late Scott Ladwig. Jerry worked for the Boeing Company in Seattle Washington for several years before returning to Wausau, WI to work for Crestline (S.N.E) from 1976 to 1999 when he retired. After retirement Jerry enjoyed going to the casino, watching the Green Bay Packers, going to the bar to enjoy time with friends and family, an avid Judge Judy watcher, but most importantly Jerry loved to spend time with his kids, grandkids and great grandchildren.

Jerry is survived by his children Gerilyn, Rick and Mark; grandchildren, Jason (Kaila), Nikki, Scott, Jessica (Carlos), Eric (Emma), Matt (Katie), and Hannah (MJ), great-grandchildren, Tanner, Jordynn, Alayna, Calleigh, Tylan, Kam, Carter, Parker,

Lucia, Christian, Delani, and Giovanni.

Jerry's family will be planning a celebration of life at a later date. Jerry's family would like to offer their thankfulness to Aspirus Hospice Care and all of the staff members at Mt. View Care Center, for their dedication to this Veteran.
