John "Buck" Raymond Passed away on 9-30-2021 at home with his loved ones by his side. John was from Mosinee, Wi. Graduated from Mosinee High school in 1958, where he played football and boxed. Joined the army and served in Korea as a MP from 1959- 1961. Married his only love, Patricia Brandt in 1962 and would have been married 60 years this February 2022. He then became a Police officer and worked for Wausau PD for almost 20 years. He coached boxing at the YMCA boxing team for years. He leaves behind his wife Pat, 3 sons, 2 daughters, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandson's. A beloved husband, father, grandfather & great grandfather had a passion for the outdoors, hunting & fishing, that he has passed down to all of his family. He was very proud of the world record small mouth bass he caught in 2007 on a 20lb. testline catch and release, which still stands to this day. He was a man of strength and fighting spirit that was evident to his last breath. His legacy will live on in his children, grandchildren and generations of years to come.
