Judith A. Johnson, age 83, of Marshfield, WI passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at the

House of the Dove in Marshfield.

Per Judy's wishes, there will not be a funeral service and cremation will take place. A

celebration of life will be planned for family and friends in the summer of 2025, Judy's favorite

season.

Judy was born on August 7, 1941, in Minneapolis MN to parents Howard and Juanita LaBelle. She

graduated from Edison High School in Minneapolis, MN.

She was united in marriage to Wayne Johnson, they then moved to Marshfield to work and start a family. They had two daughters and later divorced.

Judy enjoyed gardening. Her tulips, hostas, allium, and phlox, to name a few,

were admired by many. If you stopped to admire her flowers, and wanted to take some home

with you, she would dig some up and send you off with care instructions. She also enjoyed

reading, crocheting, sewing, fishing, and watching baseball. The Cubbies and the Brewers

were her favorite teams to watch on TV when she wasn't at the game.

Judy worked for Kmart and Figi's. When she retired, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed baking with them, decorating for Christmas, taking them to the library, and sharing her love of Michael Jackson, Elvis, Queen, and Toby Keith, to name a few. She also enjoyed going to soccer and volleyball games as well as dance recitals.

Judy is survived by her two daughters: Nikki Lossman of Marshfield, her three children Taylor,

Becca, Alli, and Genea (Scott) Rotar of Minocqua, and their two children Kiera and Leo. She

is further survived by her two brothers Mike (Pat) LaBelle, Jim (Sue) LaBelle, her sister

Jeannine DeAngelis and her sister-in-law Carol LaBelle, and many nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Corky. She was looking forward to

reuniting with her brother Corky and her neighbor of over 50 years, Marge.

The family would like to say a special thank you to her neighbors Johnny, Shelia, Karen, and

Adiran. We would also like to thank the Compassus Hospice staff at the House of the Dove for

caring for Judy during her last few weeks.
