Judith "Judy" Lynn Westberg, 65, of Wausau, passed away Tuesday, April 2nd, 2025, at House of the Dove (Compassus Hospice House) in Marshfield.
Judy was born May 10, 1959, in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Clarence and Joan (DeMesy) Steger. She attended Merrill High School. Judy has a daughter, Tasha (Jesse) Grabowski of Eagle River with her previous marriage to Ron Verhasselt. She later remarried Mark Westberg on October 23rd, 2004, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wausau, where she was a member.
Judy was incredibly happy, fun-loving, and upbeat, whom many adored. She was known for her bedazzling, turning pictures upside down during the holidays, creativeness in everything she did and of course always wearing her high-heel platform sandals. She always looked her best with an absolutely beautiful smile.
Judy worked in the drycleaning business for 20+ years and then switched over and finished her working career as a housekeeper at Rennes Rehabilitation Center in Weston.
Survivors include her husband, Mark Westberg of Wausau; daughter, Tasha (Jesse) Grabowski of Eagle River; grandchild, Brinley Grabowski; sisters, Gail (Mark) Juhlke of Merrill; Jodi Larocque of Phillips; sister-in law, LuAnn Steger of Gleason; nieces and nephews, Michele Steger, Sara Steger, Brad (Abby) Juhlke, Kyle Juhlke, Ben (Anna) Kutil, Matthew (Bridget) Kutil. Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Joan Steger; brother, Steve Steger; brothers-in-law, Robert Kutil and Alan Larocque; niece, Courtney Juhlke.
A brief funeral service for Judy will be held at 11:00AM, Monday, April 7th, 2025, at Lutheran Memorial Lutheran Church in Gleason. Rev. Greg Laska will officiate. A reception and celebration of life will follow the service and be at the Gleason Bowling Center.
