Judy Ann Pagryzinski, age 74, of Ringle, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, with her loving husband by her side.

Judy was born on December 31, 1950, to the late Thomas and Alberta (Bartz) Shimkus. On September 22, 1973, she married the love of her life, David Pagryzinski, and together they shared more than five decades of love, adventure, and friendship.

Judy was truly at home outdoors. She loved snowmobiling, hunting, fishing—both ice and boat—and anything that put her in nature. One of her greatest joys was riding her Harley with David, traveling all across the United States and logging nearly 120,000 miles together. Those miles were filled with laughter, freedom, and unforgettable memories.

She dedicated 25 years to teaching hunter safety to both youth and adults and was instrumental in helping open Marathon County roads to UTV use. Judy also founded the RURAL Riders ATV Club, leaving a lasting impact on the outdoor community she loved so deeply.

Judy was known for her outgoing, sassy personality. She wasn't afraid to speak her mind, yet she was always the first to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. Her strength, generosity, and passion for life will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Pagryzinski; her daughter, Sara (Charles Richey) Pagryzinski; her grandson, Ricky Hughes; and her siblings: Tom Shimkus; Sheila (Ken) Roble; Connie (Clarence) Hack; and Sally Genrich.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Elaine Shimkus, and her brother-in-law, Rod Genrich.
