Karen Ruthann Pasnecker passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 7th, surrounded in her final days by the thoughts, prayers, and love of those who cared deeply for her.

She was born in Racine, Wisconsin on January 22nd 1950. Karen shared a beautiful life with the love of her life, Alan, whom she married and cherished until his passing in 2015. Together they built a life filled with warmth, memories, and joy.

She spent many of her days caring for and updating her beloved home in Rib Mountain, a place that reflected her dedication, pride, and love for the simple comforts of life. Karen found special happiness in the peaceful moments spent watching the local wildlife that visited her backyard.

When she wasn't tending to her home or enjoying the outdoors, Karen could often be found immersed in one of her many mafia novels, a pastime she truly enjoyed.

Karen is preceded in death by her husband, Alan, both parents and her brother Harold.

She is survived by her daughter, Jodi (Brian) Woellner; her cherished grandchildren, Leah (Alexander) Attoms and Leo (Desirae Duranceau) Woellner; three brothers, Donald, John, and Anthony, and two sisters, Pam and Penny.

Per Karen's wishes, a private celebration of life will take place at a later time with those she requested.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
