Kathy (Kathryn) Adams, 75, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2025, at Wellington Place in Biron, Wisconsin. She was supported by the staff at Wellington Place and Heartland Hospice Care.
Kathy was born to Edna Mae Gachnang and Elmer Floyd Adams on July 29, 1949. She grew up in Vesper and lived in Wisconsin Rapids. She was employed at Consolidated Papers from 1973 until she retired.
Throughout her life, Kathy was a Girl Scout Leader and was involved with 4H Dog Project for a number of years and enjoyed doing crafts. She was creative and artistic and really enjoyed her ceramics, painting, drawing and collecting various items. She was a big Elvis fan and talked often about the concert she had tickets for the year that he died. She enjoyed camping, the outdoors, road trips and scenic views. Her favorite vacation was her cruise to Cozumel. She was well known to have a conversation with anyone who would listen and was not afraid to give her opinion, asked or not. She was the most stubborn person but had a big heart.
Kathy was predeceased by her sister Sandy Jones, parents and stepfather, Don Lee.
She is survived by her daughter, Leslie and Chad Schneeberger, her three grandchildren, Brandon, McKenna, and Aubrey Schneeberger. Her brother, Don and Heidi Lee, her sister, Linda and Bob Zvolena.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at the Lake Wazeecha Enclosed Stone Shelter located at 7111 South Park Road, Wisconsin Rapids, Wi 54494 from 2pm to 6pm. This will be a casual, potluck style celebration. Sandwiches will be provided, but please bring a dish to pass and share your memories of Kathy and feel free to bring any pictures you would like to share.
Donations may be made to the family at that time or mailed to 209 Park Lane, Edgerton, WI 53534.
