Leonard (BOJO/Lenny) Streich, 73, of Rosholt, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.

He was born in Milwaukee, WI on May 29, 1950, to the late Leonard O. and Caroline J. (Olson) Streich.

Lenny worked for the City of Milwaukee Department of Sanitation from September 7, 1971, until his retirement on June 1, 2005.

Lenny dedicated a lot of his time to being President of the Local #61. The family is eternally grateful to the firm Padway and Padway for all the help they gave Lenny during his reign.

Lenny is survived by his siblings: Janice Heckathorn, Carol Jean (Joe) Kellow, Janice Streich, Faith Firkus, and Maribeth D'Acquisto. He is further survived by his nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly, and who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Susanna Ruelle, brother Edward Streich, and his nephew Bradley Dykstra.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm on May 26, 2024, at the cemetery of St. Jospeh Catholic Church in Galloway, Wisconsin.

The family wishes to thank Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services and Synergy Health Care for all of the care they gave to Lenny.
