Leroy Jerome Eiden, 59, of Stevens Point, WI passed away Friday, August 16, 2024 at the Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI.

Leroy was born on August 24, 1964 in Stevens Point. He was the son of the late Frederick and Jeanette (Raschka) Eiden. He attended local grade schools in Stevens Point and graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High (SPASH). He was passionate about trains and he and his brother could often be found train watching around Stevens Point but they also enjoyed traveling around the state for train-related activities and festival events. Leroy was a loyal fan of the Packers and Brewers and could always tell you when and who they were playing next. He also had a sharp memory for players across teams and was great at predicting the drafts. He enjoyed fishing, had a soft spot in his heart for animals, and adored making people laugh. You could always count on Leroy to bring a smile to your face, and he never missed an opportunity to crack a good joke!

Leroy is survived by his brother, Leonard Eiden of Stevens Point, and his niece Amanda (Anthony DiFranzo) Eiden of Philadelphia, PA.

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Linda Eiden, and his nephew Zachary Bahlow.

His family are memorializing his passing with a private celebration of life.
