Leslie "Les" Everett Peterson, 71 of Nelsonville, WI passed away January 30, 2025, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Les was born in Iola, WI on May 24, 1953, a son of Everett and Anita (Aasen) Peterson.

Les graduated from Amherst High School in 1971.

He worked at Imperial Steel, Construction Truck Driver, Wimme Sand & Gravel and LP of Amherst Welding & Fab.

He is survived by his sons, Christopher (Jessica) and their sons, Brayden and Austin, and Matthew (Chiya) and their son, Malachi; Mother, Anita Peterson; brothers, Jeffrey Peterson, Steve, (Donna) Peterson and Daniel (Becky) Peterson.

He is preceded in death by his father, Everett Peterson and brother Michael Peterson.

A private burial will be held at a later date.
