Linda Lou Norton passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and laughter. She was born on October 2, 1936, in Laona, Wisconsin, to the late Sylvester and Verona (Laporte) Harris.

On May 19, 1956, Linda married the love of her life, Leroy Norton. Together they built a life centered on family and shared memories until his passing on September 9, 2008. Linda and Leroy worked hard side by side on their farm, dedicating themselves to the land and their animals. After they sold the animals, they turned their efforts toward restoring and rebuilding their farmhouse—a labor of love that became a true reflection of Linda's creativity and care. It was there that she discovered and nurtured her love for crafting and decorating.

Linda had a deep passion for creativity and could often be found crafting or painting her artwork on just about anything she could get her hands on. She took great joy in decorating for every holiday, filling her home with warmth and festive spirit. An avid gardener, Linda spent countless hours tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. She also loved crossword puzzles and took pride in never leaving a square empty.

Known for her straightforward nature, Linda was never one to hold back—famously unafraid to "tell the bear where to go in the woods." Yet alongside her honesty was a wonderful sense of humor. She had a gift for one-liners and kept those around her smiling and laughing.

Above all, Linda cherished her family. She shared a special and lasting bond with her daughters, Brenda and Anita, and found immense joy in her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

Linda will be remembered for her strong spirit, her creativity, her humor, and the deep love she had for those closest to her.

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Jeff) Wiesenberger and Anita (Josh) Heil; stepson, Hans (Dorris) Lugstein; grandchildren, Troy (Stephanie), Jody (Julie), Amanda, Rachel (Jeremy), Andrew (Krystal), Sabrina (Scott), and Mikaila (Jacob); great-grandchildren, Breana, Ryan, Trenton, Brandon, Caillen, Lily, Cole, Taylor, Avery, and Lexi; and great-grandsons, Hudson and Jeb. She is further survived by her siblings, Donald (Linda), Harris and Shirley Morris; as well as three daughters and one son.

Linda was laid to rest at Pine Grove cemetery.
