Linda L Wilson passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI.

Linda was born April 21, 1950, in Merrill, the daughter of the late Herbert and Louise (Payne) Hehling.

Since 1987, she lived and worked in Nevada. In 2008, she worked as a cook at the man camp for General Drilling, until she chose to retire in 2013, and moved back to Merrill, WI to be closer to her relatives, where she was living until her death.

She thoroughly enjoyed watching, and feeding, the wildlife in her yard (squirrels, birds, and rabbits). This provided endless entertainment for her and her beloved cats (through the windows, of course!).

Linda is survived by her children, Ann Wegher (Scott) of Franklin, WI; Katie Horton (Daniel) of Bristol, WI; Rita Manowski (Michael) of San Rafael, CA; and Daniel Iliff (Alaina) of Spring Creek, NV. She is further survived by her grandchildren: Jonathon Hetland (Ashley), Jacob Hetland, Jacklyn Fuchs (Steven), Corey Muhlenbeck, Jason Horton (Clara), Kimberly (Dustin) Soto, and Douglas Iliff, along with numerous great-grandchildren.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Louise Hehling, her brothers, Allen Hehling and James Hehling, and her sister, Sally Bell.

Per Linda's request and wishes, no services will be held.
