Lois Ann Jerzak, age 74, of Wausau, WI passed away peacefully on Sunday April 12, 2026, at Rennes Health & Rehab, Weston after battling cancer. She was the daughter of the late Clem & Joyce Hatzinger and was born in Sioux City, IA. She attended Mosinee High School, Mosinee, WI and went on to become a CNA & LPN. She worked for Aspirus Hospital and then Rennes Health & Rehab, where she retired from.

You could always find her outside watching wildlife or relaxing with a margarita. She was the life of the party and the ultimate hostess. Family and friends were her priority in life, and she cherished her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father Clem, mother Joyce and brother Roy.

Lois is survived by her children Jeremy Jerzak of Smyrna, TN and Joshua (Katie) Pennings of Weston, WI. Her grandchildren Blake and Breanna. Sister-in-law Mary Grossnick of Chevy Chase, MD. Also, her fur baby Bella.

There will be no funeral service per her wishes. There will be a celebration of life this summer so that her family and friends can celebrate her outside where she loved to be.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Rennes and Compassus for the extraordinary care that Lois received from them in her final days.
