Lonnie Don Waldner, 50 of Aniwa, joined many other loved ones on September 16, 2026, at home surrounded my his family.

Lonnie was born on September 17, 1975 to the late Jacob and Elizabeth Waldner. Lonnie married Tanya Bernarde and had two amazing children. Lonnie worked in residential construction most of his life. In his younger days he was a bit of a wild child, loved to party and live life to the fullest. Over time his hobbies of shooting pools fizzled out and switched to hanging out with family and friends. Lonnie was the most stubborn man that was set in his ways. This quality was also his curse that he wore proudly as we all are human. Lonnie was the type of person who would be straight with you and tell you like it is. Even with all his stubborn flaws he was and still is loved by so many people that could tell many stories about crazy adventures in his short life.

Lonnie is survived by and missed beyond words by his wife of 25 years (together 31) Tanya Waldner, their two amazing children Christy (Devin) Gress of White Lake and Colin Waldner (partner Lisbet Geimer) of Madison and one cherished grandson Rylin Gress of White Lake. Lonnie comes from a big family: Jake (Darlyn) Waldner of Antigo, Margret Glanzer of Doland South Dakota, Dan (Heidi) Waldner of Poynette, John (Christy) Waldner of Sun Prairie, Mike Waldner of Aniwa, Joann (Dave) Drontle of Freedom, Eli (Dana Hutung) Waldner of Holmen. Lonnie also had many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. In addition to family Lonnie had many friends that were considered family.

Lonnie is at peace with his father Jacob Waldner, mother Elizabeth Waldner, brothers Herb Waldner and Vern Waldner, brother in law Tim Glanzer, in laws David and Betty Bernarde, and sister-in-law Bonnie Bernarde.

Lonnie didn’t want a funeral, so in lieu of a funeral we our having a celebration of life on October 3, 2026 at 6:00 pm, will be at Little Rock Bar in Aniwa, WI. If your able to stop by have a drink with family and friends, share a few memories.
