Lorna R. Pacey

October 30, 1938 – March 15, 2025

Lorna R. Pacey, Wausau, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025, surrounded by her family at the age 86.

Born on October 30, 1938, Lorna shared a beautiful life with her husband, John "Jack" Pacey, with whom she built a loving home and family. Together, they raised five children, Scott, Dawn (Andy) Soucek, Todd (Rosemarie) Pacey, Eric (Stephanie) Pacey, Jason Pacey and were blessed with nine grandchildren: Ben, Erin, Kristin, Landon, Ava, Brett, Conor, Charles and Elsa, all of whom adored her. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Jack and son, Scott.

Lorna had a deep love for the simple joys in life. She found happiness in her garden, tending to her flowers and yard with care. Her favorite moments were spent on the porch with a cup of coffee, watching the wildlife at their home on Lake Seventeen. She was a quiet observer of nature's beauty, finding peace in the rustling trees and the calls of birds over the water.

Lorna also had a playful and competitive spirit. She never passed up a chance to take an occasional trip to the casino, and her family knew better than to underestimate her at the cribbage board—she took great joy in outplaying her kids.

She was loved by many and will be deeply missed, but her warmth, humor, and love will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

A private service will be held in her honor. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take a quiet moment to enjoy a cup of coffee outside, appreciating the world as she did.
