Lorraine Poi passed away peacefully July 30,2024 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

She was born August 5,1939 daughter of John and Ella (Mosher) Hopp.

On November 22, 1958 she married Patrick Madden who preceded her in death on August 18,1966.

She married Burt Poi Jr. March 18 ,1972 preceding her in death.

Her final love was Frederick Doepke also preceding her in death August 8, 2011.

Loraine loved NASCAR and knew every driver by name. She also enjoyed watching the Brewers and calling her favorite son in law and sister Phyllis to discuss the games. She was an avid Wisconsin sports fan.

Lorraine was a graduate of Merrill High School class of 1957 She was a lifelong factory worker at multiple different businesses, you may see her name on a window somewhere around the world..

Lorraine sadly lost her oldest son Gary Madden August 1,2004.

Survivors include her daughters Cheryl Madden, Susan ( Pat) Schilling and Amy Schilling..

Grand children Andrew Madden, Lucas (Nick Cota) Schilling, Lauren (Andrew) Gale, Samantha (Kyle) Schilling, Patrick Madden; Great grand children, Grayslyn, Merielle, Kayveen, Jensen Dietrich.; sisters Vernette (Louis) Heuser, Darlene (Joe) Wimmer and brother Roger Hopp.

Besides her parents, husbands and friend she was preceded in death by her son Gary Madden and 3 siblings Vernon Hopp, Harold (Barb) Hopp and Phyliss Frederick, brother in law Danielle Harkner and sister in law Jean Hopp.

A private burial with immediate family will be scheduled at future date.
