It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Grandmother, LouAnn Ellen Donald (Buchanan) from complications of heart failure on September 24, 2024. She was 69 years old.
Born on July 26th, 1955 in Milwaukee Wisconsin, LouAnn lived a full and vibrant life. She was the loving wife of Charles Rogers of whom they had 3 children, Timothy, Roxanne and Charles Jr. LouAnn later married Joseph F. Donald in 2003 and they were married until Joe passed in 2013. LouAnn was preceded in death by parents Dorothy Eliason & Floyd Edward Buchanan, sisters Lily Hauke & Cindy Buchanan, brother Edward Buchanan, husbands Charles Rogers and Joe Donald, and Son Timothy Rogers.
In her free time, LouAnn enjoyed spending time with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren, she enjoyed crossword puzzles and she was a huge fan of professional wrestling. In her younger years, she enjoyed fishing and bowling. She loved dogs and had several throughout her life. LouAnn spent her childhood years in Milwaukee and eventually moved with her husband Joe to Wausau in 1999 where they lived for roughly 15 years before moving to Duluth, Minnesota where they lived until Joe passed away. LouAnne moved back to Wausau, Wisconsin in 2013 to be closer to family and spent all her remaining years there.
LouAnn is survived by Sisters Lois Kaquatosh (Herbert Kaquatosh), Lauren Kautz (Kenny Kautz), Brother Dwight "David" Buchanan, Daughter Roxanne (Jesse Garcia), Son Charles Rogers, Grandchildren Jessica Reinertson, Tiffany Kruszewski, Paula Garcia-Rogers, Jesse Garcia Jr., Jasmine Rogers, Cyanne Rogers, Synamin Rogers, Jade Rogers, Charlie Rogers, Patricia Wies, Melissa Wies and great grandchildren Tyler Rothmeyer, Kyle Ambrosy, Carly Labarge and Michael Labarge.
A Celebration of life will be held on October 5, 2024 at Pleasant View Park in Wausau.
Rest in peace, Granny. You will be forever missed and always remembered.
