Happy Martin, 71, of Edgar Wisconsin passed away peacefully in her home on February 17th, 2025 surrounded by family. Married to the love of her life July 14th, 1995, Happy was never known to pass up a good dance floor. Her wit and sass was known from Phillips to Edgar always lighting up a room with her smile. If there was a party, her deviled eggs were always requested and gone quickly. For 15 years she made roasters of deer heart stew that quickly grew from a small celebration of 1 roaster for friends to 8 roasters and lots of laughs! Happy loved to craft making the best card boxes for weddings. She enjoyed her work as a produce manager at the grocery store in Edgar. For the last year enjoyed retirement with Flash including a road trip last June, first to the Wissota Exit, but eventually made it out west to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, the Badlands, Devils Tower, Spearfish Falls and Wall Drug!

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marion (Herbert) Stanke; her father Jed Palmer as well as her two brothers Bob Palmer & Marvin Palmer.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Flash Martin, her sister Sally (Jesse) Greenberg; her son Mark (Tammy) Strasser, step-son Joe (Jenna) Martin, step-daughters Sara (Gregg) Shnowske & Bobbie (Craig) Nielsen as well as her grandchildren Sam (Derek) Porter, Anthony Strasser; AliMae, Aviana & Joey Martin; Hailey, Hannah & Miranda Shnowske; AJ Nielsen; great grandchildren Kinsley & Beckett Porter. She is also survived by the best thing that ever happened to her, Foxy "golden-child" Martin.

Happy will also be missed by her sister-in-laws, her extended family and so many friends.

The family will be getting together on April 12th, 1pm at one of Happy's favorite hang-outs, Illusions in Fenwood, to share stories and celebrate her life. We'd love to see you there to share your favorite memory. The family will be providing sandwiches, if you would like to bring a dish to pass.
