Mary Ann Knighten, 76 Passed away October 29th, 2025, in Wausau Wisconsin.

She was born in Marinette, WI, on March 19th, 1949, the daughter of Francis and Lucille Baker.

Mary loved to travel to the big cities, sometimes she stayed for a while and sometimes she didn't. She really did love to spend time with her grandchildren, especially her granddaughter Darian Batch (Nick Hall) of Gleason, WI where she stayed the last month of her life, surrounded by the joy and laughter of her great granddaughters, Delilah, Magnolia, Dyna, and Annabeth.

Mary is survived by her 3 children; Leonard Atkinson Jr. of Florida, Thomas Atkinson (Christa Neumann) of Merrill, WI and Chrystal Whitney (Mark Inglett) of Holmen, WI, 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 sisters; Ruth Wolford and Jean Panko, and 1 brother, Bill Baker.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Francis Baker Sr. and Lucille Baker-Kassner, brother Francis Ralph Baker, and her sister Ionne L. Baker Luczak.

There will be no service. Mary will be cremated and her ashes spread as she directed.
