Mary Margaret (Roach) Stefany, age 75, passed away peacefully on April 11 in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Mary spent many cherished years in Winfield, Illinois, where she built a life centered on family, faith, and community, before retiring to the Northwoods of Wisconsin—a place she loved for its quiet beauty and sense of peace. A woman of faith, Mary carried her beliefs into aspects of her life, offering kindness and compassion to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert E. Roach, mother, Margaret Mary Roach, son, Ricky Stefany, and brother, Edmund D. Roach. Mary is remembered by her children, Erin (Landon) Halley and Shannon (Aaron) Steen; by her grandchildren, Lynda R. and Lea K. Steen, and Greyson W. Halley; and by her dear friend, Shirley Grasley.

Mary's faith was a guiding light in her life, and her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace in Heaven, embraced in eternal rest.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 1, at 10:00 a.m. at Rock of Ages Lutheran Church in Minocqua, Wisconsin. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Mary's life.
