Michael Kuehn, age 56, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, after a long battle of illness.

Born on February 26, 1970, at Holy Cross Hospital in Merrill. He was the son of John and Elinor (Rowl) Kuehn. He worked at various factory jobs in his younger years. He enjoyed music, playing electric guitar, drawing, painting, working on old cars, metal working, and reading.

He attended Merrill High School and married his high school sweetheart, Becky Hoffman, on August 19, 1995.

He is survived by his wife, Becky; brother, Jon (Milagros) Kuehn; and loving dachshund, Winnie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elinor Kuehn; brother, Carl Kuehn; and loving dachshund Max.

The family would like to thank the Staff at Aspirus Merrill Hospital, Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, and Aspirus Wausau Hospital MAPS unit for the wonderful care.

Per Michaels request, there will be no services.
