Patty
Teetzen
Sep 23, 1960 — May 31, 2025
Patty Teetzen passed away on Saturday May 31st, peacefully surrounded by her family.
She was born in Ann Arbor, MI on September 23, 1960, to Fred V Simons and Patricia Simons. She was the 5th of 6 kids and the only girl of the bunch. They moved to Keshena/Shawano, WI where she spent most of her childhood. Playing on the lake with her brothers and friends was one of her favorite memories.
She said her greatest accomplishment in life was being a wife and mom. When she was 15, she met the love of her life, Alan, and she said after she met him that she knew that there was no one else for her. They were married in September of 1978 and had 4 beautiful children together. Each child was a miracle, since the doctors told her she couldn't have even one. After Alan joined the Air Force in 1983, they traveled the United States being stationed in Idaho, Illinois, Ohio, Texas and finally retiring to Wisconsin in 2003. She loved moving to the different states and seeing all the new sights.
Patty's husband, children and grandchildren were her life, and she went to all of their functions and cheered them on. So proud of each accomplishment of all of her kids. She loved to sew, cross-stitch, bake and craft. She loved the outdoors and hiking with her family, especially in the Porcupine Mountains. She also loved all her pets and her grand pets, there were dogs, cats, a bird and even the grow-a-frog, she loved and took care of them all.
Patty is survived by her husband, Alan, children, Patrick Teetzen(Keturah), Danielle Beall(JD), Samantha Teetzen, Amanda Teetzen-Parnell(Kegan), her grandchildren, Jacob, Jaylen, Tyler, Liam, Kenzley, Magdalyn, Harper, and Roman, her brothers, Michael(Renee), Steven(Pat), Peter(Rhonda), sisters-in-law, Toni Bucholz, Joan Simons and Anne Simons and all her nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Pat Simons and Fred Simons and her brothers Fred and Terry.
She will be greatly missed by everyone that was in her life.
