Peggy Lee Makal (Timm), 70, of Wausau WI passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. She was born in Wausau on March 25, 1955, to Elroy and Betty Timm.

Peggy was a selfless person who always put others before herself. She lived a life filled with love, creativity, and the unwavering companionship of her beloved dogs.

Peggy graduated from Wausau East High School and later met and married Neil Makal on October 28, 1988. Their union brought joy and stability to her life.

In her younger years, her creative spirit shone through her passion for crafting and gardening, hobbies she pursued with dedication and enthusiasm. She found immense satisfaction in nurturing both her plants and her relationships.

Preceding Peggy in death were her parents Elroy and Betty Timm. She is survived by her sons, Jason (Shannon) Weinke of Fondulac, WI, and Josh Weinke of Wausau, WI, her sister Debi Baseseman (fiancé Joe Kobart), four grandchildren,

and 3 great grandchildren.

A memorial service celebrating Peggy's life will be held at a later date. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her love of music, her artistic talents, and the enduring love she shared with her family friends, and dogs.
