Robert J. Allen, 70, of Mosinee, passed away peacefully at his home in Mosinee on October 25, 2024.

Robert was born on October 25, 1954, to the late George and Elizabeth (Truax) Allen. After high school, Robert went to work as an over the road truck driver, which he did for many years, most notably for SNE out of Mosinee. After retiring from the road, Robert went to work for the Mosinee Elementary School in the maintenance and custodial department.

Robert had a love for classic cars, especially hot rods from the 1960's and1970's, which he owned many of, over his lifetime, and was extremely skilled in working on. Robert was truly happy when he was behind the wheel of one his hot rods, out enjoying the open roads.

Robert is survived by his children, Phaedra Odelle of Minneapolis, Robert Allen Jr. of Marshfield, and Brandon Allen of Neillsville; granddaughters, Aeris and Amara, brothers, Dennis and Jim Allen of Mosinee; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, George Allen.

Following his wishes, Robert has been cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
