Robert "Bob" Guy, age 71, passed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior on November 17th, 2025, after a long and courageous health battle, with his devoted wife at his side.

Bob had a laugh that was contagious. He was a loyal husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved his family dearly. He was especially proud of both his sons, whom he raised practically on his own after the devastating loss of his first wife, Mary (Wallace), in 1980.

Bob was a proud veteran, having served 13 years in the Wisconsin National Guard. He also worked at Thilmany Paper Mill in Kaukauna for 18 years. He moved to Merrill in 1992, working at Wausau Coated, then as a cook at several restaurants. In 1996, he made the decision to go to Sun Prairie Truck Driving School. Upon completion, he drove over the road for deBoer Transportation for several years, then for B&D Motors until his retirement in 2016. He especially loved the mountain scenery when he drove out West, and he often said that was where he felt closest to God.

Later in 1996, he married Pam Walbeck in a beautiful, simple ceremony at the Lincoln County Courthouse in Merrill. They had met 2 years earlier on a blind date through a mutual friend. It was a love story for the ages! In their 29+ years of marriage, there was not a single day that went by without at least one "I love you" being said to each other. They were inseparable, and they cherished every day God gave them to share together. Pam was with him through his last breath in this earthly life.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Pam, sons Samuel (Kristi), Timothy (Ann), grandchildren Matthew, Thomas, Shane, Caedar, and Makenna, sisters Pamala (Rod) Pues, Cheryle Fritz, and many nieces and nephews. Bob felt blessed to continue to enjoy a close, lifelong family relationship with the entire Wallace side as well.

Bob will be forever missed but will live within our hearts.
