Ronald
Allain
Dec 23, 1959 — Dec 28, 2024
Ronald "Ronnie" Allain, age 65, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, at his home with family, on Saturday, December 28, 2024.
He was born on December 23, 1959, to the late Gerald and Mae (Meyer) Allain. In his younger years, he delivered newspapers daily, then went on to work at a gas station, pumping gas and washing windshields. He was a determined hard worker, he had to save up for his first car. He played Hockey and loved bowling. Ronnie would spend countless hours in the garage with his dad working on old cars.
When Ronnie was 23, his friends Ronnie and Darlene introduced him to their cousin Holly Fuhrman. They went on their first date at State Park Speedway, where they instantly fell in love. They were soon married and shared 2 wonderful children. Ronnie had a love for cameras and developing photos in the basement of his home. After attending DC Everest, Ronnie went on to get his certification in automotive mechanics. He then worked as an industrial/commercial mechanic until his retirement.
Ronnie enjoyed camping, and being outdoors. One of Ronnie's favorite memories that he loved to share was biking from Weston to Minocqua. He enjoyed playing 10,000 dice games with his family as a favorite pastime, tinkering with anything mechanical and was a fan of all Wisconsin sports. He loved his music and his record collection. He was a man of few words but had a heart of gold. He enjoyed the simple things in life. Most important to him was family. He especially cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren. While the family finds solace in knowing Ronnie is at peace, they will surely miss his presence, hearing his silly laugh, and him talking about his lifelong stories.
Ronnie is survived by his children, Justin, and Amanda (Dan Kroeplin) Allain; grandchildren, David, Marley, and Kamryn; sisters, Julie Williams and Sherry Allain; mother of his children, Holly; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Ronnie's life will be held at a later date.
