Sandra Lee Schneebeli, born on July 6, 1943, in St. Louis, MO, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 14, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She was the daughter of Leon Joseph and Evelyn Bernice (Alexander) Mestres, who preceded her in death.

Sandy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. She is survived by her husband, Albert Schneebeli, Rothschild, WI, children, Scott (Mollie) Zahner, Mansfield, TX, Patricia (Ray) Kowalczewski, Shawnee, KS, Chuck (Lanie) Schneebeli, Belleville, IL, Robyn (Jeff, preceding her in death) Schneider, Weston, WI, Jill (Kevin) Dunn, Kronenwetter, WI, and Steve (Robyn) Schneebeli, Eureka, MO. Sandy adored her many grandchildren, Melissa (Bob) Biebel, Michael (Haley) Zahner, Amanda Schneider, Sean (Kelly) Dunn, Bryan (Hannah) Zahner, Michael Schneider, Alyssa Dunn, Cody Schneider, Ryan Dunn, Amy Kowalczewski, Kaeli Dunn, Kelly Kowalczewski, Ashley Schneebeli, and Ryan Schneebeli, as well as her great grandchildren Aidan, Emma, Soren, Eleanor and Florence.

Sandy was a dedicated registered nurse, spending many years working hard caring for others. Beyond work, Sandy loved her family, taking in the views at Rib Mountain, fishing and the outdoors. She was a talented seamstress, creating amazing embroidery and sewing projects with love.

Sandy will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. A Celebration of Sandy's life will be held in the spring on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at the Friends Gathering Space at the top of Rib Mountain, one of her favorite places. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
