Sandra Lee Turner (Tower), also known as Sandy, age 79, passed away peacefully with family by her side on May 6, 2025, in Rothschild, Wisconsin.

Born on January 2, 1946, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Sandy was the beloved daughter of Frank and Elaine Tower. She graduated from Muskego High School in 1964 and went on to dedicate much of her life to raising her family as a devoted homemaker. Later in life, she extended her care and compassion into the workforce, first at Shepherds Ministries in Union Grove and later at Carthage College, where she worked in the development offices.

Sandy surrendered her life to Christ while she was in highschool. Her life was marked by quiet strength and unwavering faith. A long-time member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Racine, Wisconsin, she served faithfully by teaching young children in the 2's & 3's class and Cubbies program. She also led in teaching crafts in Vacation Bible School. In retirement, she continued her spiritual journey as a member of Faith Church in Minocqua and later Immanuel Baptist Church in Wausau.

She found joy in simple pleasures—spending time with family, spoiling her grandchildren, cross stitching, crafting heartfelt cards, reading on her Kindle, tending to her summer flowers, and taking walks. Her gentle spirit touched all who knew her.

Sandy is survived by her loving husband Richard; son Matt Turner (Stephanie); daughter Kris Schlagel (Mike); grandchildren Colin Schlagel, Andrew Turner (Haley), Mackenzie Turner, Casey Grubb (Logan), Courtney Turner, Blake Turner, Carter Schlagel, and Khole Turner; great-grandchildren Lukas Turner and Babygirl Grubb; brother Frank Tower (Anita Kropf); aunt Jane Grundy (Jerry); as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Elaine Tower and her son Tim Turner.

Sandy will be remembered for her sweet nature, kind heart, gentle disposition, and steadfast prayers. Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched with grace and love.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 20, 2025, at Immanuel Baptist Church 152111 Tulip Lane. Visitation from 9am to 11am. Service at 11:00am with luncheon to follow.
