Scott Alan Whippler, 59 of Wausau, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Aspirus Wausau
Hospital peacefully.
Scott was born in Wausau on April 28, 1962, to the late Richard and Audrey Whippler.
Scott worked at Southside for many years. Scott then helped his parents do the grocery shopping,
driving to doctor appointments, and cooking as it was getting harder for them to do. Scott always had a
big heart even if he did not show it. Scott enjoyed hunting up north, spending time with the family
around the fire with a beer in his hand, sitting in the sitting room playing video games and cards with his
nieces/nephews, and he enjoyed spending hours in the department stores looking through the
clearance bins. Scott was always the life of the party when there was a beer around that made him do
unforgettable things that have created memories that many will have forever. His family will miss him
dearly and all the good times that were created throughout the years.
Scott is survived by his three siblings Ron (Darlene) Whippler, Jacqueline (Curtis) Kerstner, and Bobby
(Juelle) Whippler. He had one niece, Stephanie Kerstner and seven nephews, Cole Kerstner, Noah and
Ronnie Whippler, Josh, John, and Jesse Modrzejewski, and Brian Frankfourth. Close aunts Donna Pflieger
and Deanna Syring. Grandnieces Monica and McKenzie Modrzejewski.
Scott was proceeded in death by his parents Richard and Audrey Whippler. Uncles Gary Syring and
Edward Pflieger, Cousin Gary Jr. Syring, and other uncles and aunts.
