Obituary

Shirley Ann (Schultz) Bleibaum, 84, of Kronenwetter, entered her heavenly home on November 24, 2025. She was born on September 29, 1941, to the late Emery and Shirley (Mattke) Schultz.

Shirley married the love of her life, Bruce Vernon, on April 22, 1960. Together they built a beautiful life rooted in faith, hard work, and family. Bruce preceded her in death in February 2020, and she longed for the day they would be reunited.

A devoted mother, Shirley is survived by her children: Jeff (Kris), Beth, Troy (Rebecca), and Chad (fiancée Judy Nitchke). She was the proud grandmother of Kyle (Amanda), Josh (Megan), Matthew (Krista), Daniel (Ashley), Jesse, Jordan (Alicia), Dustin, David, Ashley, Jake, Alayna (Braydon), and Keanna; and a cherished great-grandmother to 22 great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy. Shirley is also survived by her sister, Carole (David) Harms. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bruce; and her brothers, Jack and Tom.

Shirley lived a life defined by love, generosity, and unwavering faith. She and Bruce ran the family dairy farm, where she worked tirelessly while raising her family. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and puzzles, and she had a lifelong love for animals. Shirley was deeply committed to her church, Bethany Baptist, where she faithfully served and prayed for others. Her giving spirit and warm heart made her beloved by all—she truly knew "everyone," and everyone felt welcomed by her kindness.

Shirley will be remembered for her gentle nature, her steadfast faith, and the way she poured love into her family and community. Her legacy will live on in the many lives she touched.

Memorial services will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Bethany Baptist Church, 6601 Alderson Street, Schofield. Visitation will take place from 9:00 am until the time of the services at the church. There will be a luncheon following the service.
