Shirley A Huff, age 93, of Wausau, Wisconsin passed away peacefully and quietly on April 11, 2025.

Shirly A Huff was born May 12, 1931, in Waukegan, Illinois to Evan and Lydia (LaFine) Davies. She spent her early years in Waukegan, IL and then in Wausau, WI.

Shirley loved to read, going to "Ladies Lunch" with her friends, playing cards and spending time in nature feeding the deer and planting flowers on the land in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Shirley was blessed with her only child, a daughter, Rita (Huff) Bloczynsk in 1950. They spent time in Ohio and California and put down roots in Kenton, Michigan.

Shirley and her partner, Joseph Zimmer, bought the Ottawa Lodge in Kenton, Michigan where they ran the hotel, bar, and restaurant. Shirley and Joe loved to fish in Canada and to attend the Indianapolis 500 Race.

She worked for Wausau insurance for 20+ years as an Assistant Manager in the Business Lines Rating Unit.

Shirley was preceded in death by her daughter Rita Bloczynski, her partner Joseph Zimmer, and her brother Gene Davies.

Shirley leaves to cherish her memory her son in law Ronald Bloczynski, her two grandchildren: Brett Bloczynski (Susan) and Leah Corum (Dwayne); her great grandchildren; her brother Daniel (Barbra) Davies and her many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her many friends.

There will be no services held.
