Stanley W. Jablonski, 79, passed away on January 9, 2022 with family by his side at his home
in Birnamwood, WI. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 20, 1942, the son of Stanley
and Regina Jablonski of Wausau. He was a Navy veteran, serving on the U.S.S. Columbus
during the Vietnam War. After his discharge, he settled in Wausau raising his family, finding his
career as an electrician and owning his own electrical business. Stan was also known as a
jack-of-all-trades and could fix anything. He enjoyed his trips to the casino, socializing with
friends, and watching Western movies.
Survivors include his children Tracy (Kevin) Thays from Pardeeville, WI., Jason (Jamie)
Jablonski from Rothschild, WI., grandchildren Paige and Kyla Thays, Mya and Ryan Jablonski,
former wife Jan Jablonski, brother Harold (Barbara) Jablonski from Wausau and several nieces
and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Irene Pomasl and his grandson
Shayne Thays.
The family is thankful for the many friends who would stop by and see him. Those friendships
meant a lot to him.
