Steven A. Effertz of Wausau, WI passed away January 11, 2022 with his family at his side. There will be a celebration of life January 28, 2022 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held from 10 am to 11 am. Service will be from 11 am to 12 pm. Steve was born in Cumberland, WI to James and Marcella Effertz. Steve was proud to serve his country for 20 years in the United States Marine Corps. Semper fi. Steve is survived by his mother Marcella; his wife Judy; his children Serena and Deidra; his granddaughter Alanna; his brothers Mike, Jim, Dan, Terry, Ken, Daren; his sisters Sharon and Barb; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Steven is preceded in death by his father James and his brother Kevin. Steve will receive a Military burial.
