Tammy Lynn Block, 54, Wittenberg, passed away at home Tuesday October 19, 2021 under the care of Compassus Hospice Care. Tammy was born December 16, 1966 in Merrill, Wisconsin to Lowell Podeweltz and Karen (Teske) Krueger. On December 29, 2000 she married Ronald Block. Tammy was a hard worker with a lot of determination. She worked at a variety of jobs over the years, including at Diamond Daves, King Foods, and Wisconsin Box Co. Tammy had a talent for taking on home improvement projects and seeing them through. She also was a great baker, making a variety of treats for Christmas time. Tammy is survived by her husband Ron, daughters Jessica Merklein, Cassy (Christopher Deuble) Merklein, Cheyenne (Payton Duberstein) Block, and Chelsey Block. Tammy is survived by two grandchildren, Triston Fisher and Harper Duberstein. She is further survived by her father, Lowell Podeweltz and sister, Lisa (Randy) Braun; step-father, Jerry Krueger; half-brothers, Jerod (Joy) Krueger, Trevor (Brittany) Krueger, Kevin Podeweltz; and half-sister, Ashley Follie; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Tammy was preceded in death by her mother, Karen Krueger, son Cody Gardner, and grandson Kelson Fisher. To honor Tammy's wishes there will be no services. Mid-Wisconsin Cremation Society is helping the family.
