Valray E. Mais 79 of Marathon passed away at Aspirus Hospital on January 23, 2017 with his loving family at his bedside.  He was born to Earl and Selma (Seehafer) Mais on January 12, 1938.  He is survived by his loving wife Suzanne (Clark) Mais, one son Michael Mais, Rib Mountain, two daughters Cheri Morgan , Houston, TX and Sara Sprague Madison, Wi, Three grandchildren  Jordan, Matthew and Ian. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Ritchie Mais.  He loved wood working. He worked at Connor Forest Industries and later worked for Kolbe & Kolbe Millwork. Most of all he loved his family and spending time with them.  He will be deeply missed.   Mid Wisconsin Cremation Society is assisting family at this time.
