Victoria Elizabeth Vetter, fondly known as Vicki, passed away on January 8, 2025, in Wausau, Wisconsin,

at the age of 87. She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters. Born on May 2, 1937,

she was the daughter of the late Francisco and Carmen (Bedoya) Quevedo. Vicki came from an

immigrant family with 14 children and spent her early years in California, where she met the love of her

life, Roy John Vetter. They married on December 23, 1959, in Fresno, California, and together built a

beautiful life centered on love, family, and devotion.

In the late 1970s Vicki and Roy moved to Marathon and later Wausau, Wisconsin, where they raised

four daughters: Linda (Dennis Schara) of Edgar, WI; Helen (Rodney Mohr) of Marathon, WI; Catherine

(Patrick Gage) of Marathon, WI; and Laura (Russell Ahrens) of Marathon, WI. Over their 65 years of

marriage, they cherished family time and created countless loving memories with their 10 grandchildren:

Lauren (Jon Lovelace), William (Bobbie) Schara, Montana (Cody) Salyers, Desirae (Marcus Arneson),

Lena Mohr, Sharon (Aaron) Ruff, Denise (Jordan Hall), Justine (Matt Rausch), Angela (Derek) Lund, and

Hayley Ahrens. Vicki also delighted in the joy of 21 great-grandchildren: Amelia Lovelace; Eric, Evelynn,

Emery, and Emmit Schara; Gwendolyn, Thea, and Cora Salyers; Abram, Nathan, Caleb, and Wesley

Arneson; Roman and Rudy Ruff; Tristan, Eliza, and Mina Hall; Trey and Lana Rausch; and Laine and

Nolan Lund.

When asked who Vicki Vetter was, the answer was simple: she was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and

a cherished Nana—not only to her own family but to many others who lovingly called her "Nana." Vicki

was known for her unwavering kindness, selfless heart, and lively personality, which brought joy to

everyone around her.

She will be remembered for her radiant energy, vibrant spirit, and the unconditional love she shared with

her family. Vicki's life was a shining example of compassion, grace, and a determination to live fully and

love deeply. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched.

In accordance with Vicki's wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. Instead, the family will hold a

Celebration of Life near her birthday, May 2, 2025, to honor and cherish her memory.
